VERMILLION, S.D. — The South Dakota Coyotes women's tennis team continues its road stretch this weekend as it travels to Des Moines, Iowa, to take on the Drake Bulldogs in a nonconference matchup.

South Dakota (4-7) vs. Drake (4-7) 
When: Saturday, March 14 | 12 p.m. 
Where: Des Moines, Iowa 

The Coyotes will look to bounce back after dropping two matches last weekend against Air Force and Denver. Saturday's contest marks the 12th meeting in program history between the two teams. South Dakota will aim to improve its record in the series, which Drake currently leads 11-1. 

PLAYER TO WATCH 

Selena Bird has continued her strong play this season at the No. 1 singles position. The senior holds a 7-3 record this spring and owns a 13-5 overall mark during the 2025–26 season.
