South Dakota played a three game series against the Jackrabbits last weekend. They were shut out during the first two games losing 0-4 and 0-9, but came back for a big 8-6 win in game three. 
 
IN THE CIRCLE 
Madison Evans pitched 14.0 of the 21 innings last weekend and picked up USD's first conference win over SDSU. She had 16 strikeouts in those games. 
 
AT THE PLATE
After the first week of conference play, Ella McGee leads the Yotes with a .556 average during those three games. She had five hits over the weekend with an RBI and two runs scored. 
 
ABOUT ST THOMAS
St. Thomas sits at 21-9 overall and 3-0 in the Summit League as they swept Kansas City last weekend. They won with scores of 8-2, 4-1, and 15-4 (5 inn.). 
 
Avery Wukawitz leads at the plate with a .409 average for the Tommies. She has five doubles, two triples, and 11 home runs so far this season.
 
Ella Cook has been dominating in the circle throwing 72.2 innings with a 1.83 ERA with 58 strike outs.
