VERMILLION, S.D. – South Dakota track and field has made the decision to cancel the USD Early Bird meet originally scheduled for Friday and Saturday in Vermillion.
 
The forecasted weather conditions, including cold temperatures, wind, and precipitation, has led to this move.

The Coyotes will be back in action next weekend at the Sioux City Relays. South Dakota is partnering with the Sioux City Relays to host the men's decathlon, women's pentathlon, and the men's and women's pole vault competitions in Vermillion. Otherwise, events are held at Elwood Olsen Stadium on the campus of Morningside University in Sioux City.
