RIVERSIDE, IOWA — South Dakota men's golf wrapped up competition at the Hawkeye Invitational with a ninth-place finish, posting a three-round total of 25-over par. 

The Coyotes showed steady improvement across the tournament, opening with a 12-over par round before trimming strokes in each of the final two rounds, finishing 9-over in round two and 4-over in the final round. 

Joe Rohlwing led the way for South Dakota, finishing even par for the tournament. Rohlwing was consistent throughout the event with rounds of 73, 71, and 72, highlighting the week with a 1-under second round. 

Jack Holtz followed with an 8-over performance, carding rounds of 75, 75, and 74. Holtz delivered a steady final round to help pace the Coyotes' best team score of the tournament. 

Cole Witherow finished just behind 9-over overall (78-73-74), bouncing back from a tough opening round with improved play over the final 36 holes. 

Shoma Taguchi added a 14-over showing (74-79-77), while Parker Etzel rounded out the lineup at 16-over, highlighted by an even-par final round of 72. 

The Coyotes will now prepare for the Summit League Championship in Mesa, Arizona on May 3rd.
