SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The break between the indoor and outdoor seasons was a shorter one for Anna Willis, but that didn't stop her from earning the Kwik Star Summit League Women's Field Peak Performer of the Week honor after her first outdoor competition of the season.
 
Willis was the top collegiate finisher in the women's pole vault at the Husker Spring Kickoff Friday in Lincoln, clearing 13-9 ¾ (4.21m). That height is tied for 20^th in the NCAA so far this spring and tied for 13^th in the NCAA West Region.

This is Willis' first outdoor weekly honor of her career and fifth overall. She earned the Summit League's weekly indoor honor three of the eight weeks this winter. Willis is the second Coyote to earn weekly Summit League honors this outdoor season, joining Delaney Smith (Women's Field) who earned her honor last week.
