MANHATTAN, Kan. — The South Dakota Men's Golf team finished with sixth place finish at the Wildcat Invitational, led by Jack Holtz, who finished tied for fifth place individually. 

The Coyotes opened the tournament with a 3-over 291 before posting a 23-over 311 in the second round. South Dakota bounced back in the final round with a 4-over 292 to finish sixth. 

Jack Holtz led the way for the Coyotes, tying for fifth at 1-under par. Holtz opened with a 71 before carding a 76 in the second round and firing a 4-under 68 in the final round to finish at 215. 

Parker Etzel tied for 19th at 6-over par, finishing with a three-round total of 222. Etzel carded rounds of 73, 80 and 69, closing the tournament with a 3-under 69. 

Lance Hamak tied for 57th at 16-over par after rounds of 73, 75 and 84 for a 232 total. Cole Witherow tied for 43rd at 11-over (227), carding rounds of 74, 80 and 73. 

Christopher Whittle finished tied for 61st at 18-over par, posting rounds of 74, 78 and 82 for a three-round total of 234.
