th-leading tackler with 42 stops (21 solo) … second on the team and eighth in the Valley in tackles-for-loss with 10.0 … second on the team and eighth in the Valley in sacks with 6.0 … was named MVFC and National Defensive Player of the Week for his performance in a shutout victory against St. Thomas (Sept. 9) … had seven tackles against the Tommies including five for 25 yards in losses and three sacks … also had two quarterback hurries and forced a fumble that USD recovered to set up the final score of the game … became the first FCS player in 2023 to record five tackles-for-loss in a game and the second Coyote since 2001 to do so … became the third Coyote at the Division I level to record three sacks in a game … equaled his season high of seven tackles and had a two tackles-for-loss and a sack in the regular season finale at Western Illinois (Nov. 18) … led the team with seven quarterback hurries on the season.

Preseason All-MVFC honoree … started the first seven games of the season at defensive tackle … missed three of the last four games of the season due to injury … finished as the team’s ninth-leading tackler with 32 stops including one sack and 2.5 tackles-for-loss … also credited with a pass breakup and a quarterback hurry … had six tackles including a strip sack and a second tackle-for-loss against Illinois State (Oct. 15) … came back from injury to record a career-high nine tackles in the season finale against UNI (Nov. 19).

2020-21 | Redshirt Freshman (COVID)
Season was reduced to four games in the spring due to COVID-19 ... was one of seven redshirt freshmen who competed for the Coyotes … made his collegiate debut in week two at North Dakota (Mar. 4) … played in each of the final three games … recorded his first tackle in week four at Youngstown State (Mar. 20) … was not charged a year of eligibility due to NCAA rules related to the pandemic ...
