th in the conference in pass breakups with six … earned MVFC Defensive Player of the Week honors for his performance in the team’s upset of No. 2 North Dakota State in Fargo (Sept. 30) … had a game-high 13 tackles against the Bison, intercepted a pass that led to a Coyote touchdown and a 21-3 lead, and intercepted a two-point conversion pass late in the game … blocked a field goal in a home win against Lamar (Sept. 16) … forced a fumble at the goal line that USD recovered to preserve a late lead in a win against Murray State in week two of conference play (Oct. 7) … forced another fumble and turnover in the 34-31 win against No. 23 Youngstown State in week three of Valley play (Oct. 14) … was South Dakota’s leading tackler in both NCAA playoff games with 10 tackles in both contests
2022 | Sophomore
Played in 10 of 11 games and made eight starts at safety … finished as the team’s third-leading tackler with 67 stops including 37 solo tackles and one for loss … averaged 6.7 tackles per game which ranked 16
th in the MVFC … led the team with six pass breakups … had 10 tackles and forced a fumble that led to a one-play touchdown drive and a 17-10 halftime lead at home against top-ranked North Dakota State in the Valley opener (Sept. 24) … had a season-high 13 tackles in the road game at Youngstown State (Oct. 29)
2021 | Freshman
Played in eight of 12 games and totaled six tackles … made his collegiate debut at home in the win against Northern Arizona (Sept. 11) … one of his stops came on special teams … had three tackles in the 23-20 win against South Dakota State (Nov. 13).
