Academic all-MVFC honoree (second team) ... one of 10 Coyotes who started all 12 games, he at tight end … caught 23 passes for 207 yards and four touchdowns … had six catches for 76 yards and two scores at home against Houston Baptist (9/14) … had a 10-yard touchdown catch the following week in the win at Northern Colorado (9/21) … opened the scoring with a 13-yard touchdown catch against Youngstown St (11/9) … helped lead a unit that led the MVFC in passing and had three 300-yard rushing performances ... 2018
One of 37 Coyotes who competed in all 11 games and took the first snaps at tight end nine times … caught 20 passes for 218 yards and a touchdown … finished fourth on the team in yards and sixth for catches … had three catches for a season-best 58 yards in the home win against Western Illinois (11/10) … had four catches for 43 yards and caught his first collegiate touchdown at #5 South Dakota State the following week (11/17) … hauled in a 17-yard touchdown from Austin Simmons in the fourth quarter of that game ... MVFC Commissioner's Academic Excellence Award ... MVFC Honor Roll member

Herrmann was named an Elite first-team all-state pick by The Des Moines Register ... is also a first-team all-state class 2A choice and was invited to the Iowa Shrine Bowl ... holds Mount Vernon records for career receptions (160), receiving yards (2,254) and touchdowns (27) ... set single-season records this past year with 102 catches for 1,410 yards and 18 touchdowns ... the 102 catches are a state record ... helped the Mustangs to a state runner-up finish this past season ... hauled in 10 passes for 204 yards and four scores in the championship game ... is a three-time academic all-conference honoree and a member of the National Honor Society
