One of 20 redshirt freshmen who competed for the Coyotes … made his collegiate debut in Norman, Oklahoma, against the fourth-ranked Sooners (9/7) … played in three games and earned his first start in the win at Northern Colorado (9/21) … had five solo stops against the Bears … had a season-high six tackles (five solo) the week before at home against Houston Baptist (9/14)
