Peguero was a first-team all-conference, all-county and all-area honoree this past season when he registered 91 tackles (52 solo), 11 sacks and 26 tackles-for-loss ... he also forced four fumbles and had two recoveries ... Peguero played quarterback during his freshman and sophomore seasons and owns school records for most touchdowns scored and most yards thrown for in a game ... he also earned starts at tight end during his career ... Peguero was selected to compete in the Florida vs. Georgia and Outback Bowl All-Star games
