One of 11 Coyotes who started all 13 games, he at defensive tackle … finished as the team’s sixth-leading tackler with 54 stops (15 solo) … included in the tally was a sack and 3.5 tackles-for-loss … had two of USD’s six tackles-for-loss at Missouri in the season opener (Aug. 31) … had a game-clinching interception near the goal line in a 14-7 win against No. 10 Southern Illinois (Nov. 4) … recorded a season-high eight tackles in that win … had six tackles and recovered a fumble in a 34-31 win against No. 23 Youngstown State (Oct. 14) … forced a fumble that led to a scoop-and-score and a 17-0 lead in the NCAA playoff victory against No. 15 Sacramento State (Dec. 2) … credited with three pass breakups and two quarterback hurries.

One of six Coyotes who started all 11 games, he at defensive tackle … totaled 29 tackles including 3.0 sacks and 4.5 tackles-for-loss … tied for the second-most sacks and had the third-most tackles-for-loss on the team … also credited with a pass breakup and three quarterback hurries … blocked a field goal attempt and logged four tackles against South Dakota State (Oct. 8) … led USD with a career-high 10 tackles in the Dakota Days win against No. 14 Southern Illinois (Oct. 22) … followed with sacks in back-to-back games at Youngstown State (Oct. 29) and home against Missouri State (Nov. 5) … MVFC honor roll member

Played in five games during the season … made his collegiate debut at home in the win against Northern Arizona (Sept. 11) … totaled four tackles on the year and was credited with a quarterback hurry in the road win at Western Illinois (Nov. 6) … MVFC honor roll member.

Multi-sport star at Watertown where he earned all-state honors on the gridiron and won a state championship on the diamond ... compiled 171 tackles with six sacks and eight forced fumbles as a linebacker ... totaled 913 yards on offense playing mainly fullback and scored six touchdowns ... also punted for nearly 1,600 yards and pinned 13 inside the 20 his senior season ... competed in baseball, basketball and track and field in addition to football for the Arrows ... won a 2016 state championship in baseball and was MVP of the Junior Legion State Baseball Tournament
