An all-state wide receiver who set career records at Lincoln for catches (89) and is second in both receiving yards (1,445) and touchdowns (15)...the Daily Nonpareil in Council Bluffs named Colpitts its Football Player of the Year in 2013 after he registered 887 yards receiving with 11 touchdowns...on defense, he had 62 tackles, two interceptions and six pass breakups...also competed in track and was a state qualifier in the shuttle hurdles.
