VERMILLION, S.D. -- Junior Lindsey Schafer and freshman Rebecca Olson, divers on The University of South Dakota Swimming and Diving Team, recently qualified for the NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving Championships at Grand Forks, N.D., on March 12-15.

Schafer and Olson qualified for nationals at the Orlando Diving Meet held over the holiday break. Schafer of Mandan, N.D., recorded 267.35 points and Olson of Cedar Falls, Iowa, had 246.50 points.

At the same meet, Dan Gay, a freshman from Fairbury, Neb., had a personal best of 257.16 points, while Mark Anderson, a sophomore from Loveland, Colo., scored 225.10 points. Cole Moir, a freshman from Cody, Wyo., registered 216.5 points.
