VERMILLION, S.D. -- The South Dakota women's swimming and diving team has received academic honors from www.collegeswimming.com.

The USD women's team, coached by Jason Mahowald, was named an Academic All-American team for 2005 by the web site, which represents the College Swim Coaches Association of America.

The Coyotes earned the honors for a 3.16 GPA.
