VERMILLION, S.D. -- The University of South Dakota women's swimming and diving team has been named a Fall 2009 Scholar All-American Team by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America. The announcement came Friday from the CSCAA.
The USD women finished with a 3.34 GPA for the fall. The Coyote women finished in the top third of the 112 teams honored with their GPA.
To qualify for the honor, the team must have a GPA of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale.
It's the second straight semester that the USD women earned the CSCAA Team honors, as the Coyotes also earned the honor in Spring 2009.
