Naperville, Ill. -- Three members of the South Dakota men's golf team have been named to the
America Sky Men's Golf All-Academic Team, it was announced on Wednesday.
Senior Zach Gleysteen, sophomore Ty Munneke and freshman Nolan Schmidt were all named to the 31-member team. To earn the honor, the athlete must post a GPA of 3.2 or better during the academic year.
It is the first academic honor for all three golfers. Gleysteen (Castlewood, S.D.) is a business finance major, while Munneke (Champlin, Minn.) is a business major. Schmidt (Avoca, Iowa) is a political science major.
