Spencer, hailing from Spanish Town, Jamaica, captured the 60 meters and three of four jumping events. Spencer leaped 20 feet, 1 inch, in the long jump for a mark that would have broken an 18-year-old school record in an official meet. There were 15 marks that would have landed on the Coyote Top 10 list in an official meet.
