VERMILLION, S.D. – The South Dakota men's basketball team is No. 14 in the latest CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top-25. The Coyotes, 14-5 overall, had climbed as high as No. 10 in last week's rankings.

South Dakota garnered 345 points in the poll, ahead of No. 15 UC Santa Barbara who had 272 votes. Gonzaga maintains it stay atop the rankings with a 14-3 record and 27 of a possible 31 first place votes.

USD jumped into the Top-25 poll in the Dec. 11 rankings and have been in it every week since.

The Coyotes, 2-1 in Summit League action, play their first conference road game Thursday night at Fort Wayne. Tip-off is slated for 6 p.m. (CST) in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
