SIOUX FALLS, S.D.—A total of 25 South Dakota men's and women's basketball regular season games will be televised by Midco Sports Network in 2019-20. MidcoSN will also provide its production to either ESPN+ or ESPN3 for national coverage.
 
Returning for MidcoSN to call play-by-play for the Coyotes is Jay Elsen. He will be joined on the broadcasts by analysts Brad Newitt or alumna Kelly Stewart.
 
The Summit League announced that 78 league games will be televised by MidcoSN or MidcoSN2 this season. In addition to regular season games, the network will broadcast the Summit League Tournament's quarterfinal and semifinal matchups. Both of the Summit League Tournament games will be televised by ESPN with the women's title game broadcast on ESPNU and the men's title game on ESPN2.
 
South Dakota's women open the season on Nov. 5 with Northeastern in Boston, Massachusetts, while the South Dakota men kick off the year with the Hawai'i Rainbow Classic in Honolulu from Nov. 8-11.
