NEW ORLEANS—South Dakota women's cross country dropped three spots in the latest USTFCCCA regional rankings to No. 15 in the Midwest region.
The Coyotes finished runner-up to North Dakota State at the Summit League Championships on Saturday, being edged out 45-48, to end a streak of five-straight Summit titles.
Four Coyotes earned all-Summit League honors led by juniors
Abby Ripperda and
Jonna Bart in fourth and fifth place, respectively. Senior
Kianna Stewart took 10th and junior
Kelsi Kearney placed 11th in the race.
South Dakota toes the line for the NCAA Midwest Regional on Friday, Nov. 15, in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
