SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Freshman
Laerke Jensen totaled seven birdies through two rounds of the Gunrock Invitational on Monday to lead the South Dakota women's golf team in Sacramento, California. Jensen totaled 147 strokes to rank in a tie for 14
th in the field as the top Coyote scorer.

Jensen's seven birdies rank third in the field while a 4.6 stroke average on par five holes is also third in the event. She tallied rounds of 75 and 72 on the par 72 Del Paso Country Club, the home of the 2015 U.S. Senior Open.

Three Coyotes are a stroke apart as senior
Lexi Petersen totaled 153 strokes and is tied for 35
th. Freshman
Emma Sabbagh is tied for 38
th with 154 strokes while junior
Katie Bartlett is tied for 44
th with 155 shots.

Megan Munneke is the final Coyote scorer with 158 strokes while junior
Jamie Benedict is in the field as an individual with 175 shots.

Sacramento State holds the team lead with 569 strokes at 7-under-par. The Coyotes are in 10
th place with 609 shots with rounds of 305 and 304. Corinne Viden of Sacramento State is the individual leader with 138 strokes after shooting back-to-back rounds of 69.
