FORT COLLINS, Colo. – South Dakota men's golf team finished in eighth place at the Ram Masters Invite after Tuesday's final round of play at the Fort Collins Country Club.
The Coyotes closed with a 292 over the final 18 holes to end up with a 54-hole total of 860 while host Colorado State won its own title with a nine-under par 831.
Matt Tolan led the Coyotes with a final round 69 and finished at 214, a total matched by teammate
Ben Hicks, who had a 72 over his final 18 holes. Each tied for 22
nd in the tournament.
Justin Kolb shot a final round 75 while finishing with 76 strokes over the final 18 holes were
Scott Fudenberg and
Jacob Michel.
Fudenberg and Michel tied for 42
nd at 217 while Kolb finished with a 224 total.
The men play next in the Zach Johnson Invitational hosted by Drake University in Des Moines on Sept. 30-Oct. 1
