VERMILLION, S.D.—South Dakota women's basketball is ranked fifth in the CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major poll for the fourth consecutive week as announced Tuesday evening.
The Coyotes are ranked for the 59th consecutive CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major poll and have ranked in the poll's top-five for 28-straight weeks.
South Dakota (8-3) is off to a perfect 4-0 start in Summit League play. The Coyotes swept Kansas City last weekend on the road with winning scores of 92-34 and 80-53.
Senior
Hannah Sjerven leads the squad averaging a double-double with 17.6 points and 10.0 caroms per game. Fellow seniors
Chloe Lamb and
Liv Korngable add 17.3 points and 15.8 points per game, respectively.
The Coyotes return to action at Western Illinois on Jan. 22.
