VERMILLION -- South Dakota women's swimming and diving team returns to the DakotaDome Pool for Saturday's 1 p.m. dual against Iowa State.
The Coyotes opened the season with a win over Minnesota State, winning 13 of the 16 events contested.
South Dakota set three new school (meters) records during the dual, the 50 free, 100 butterfly and 200 free relay.Â
Emily Kahn and
Sara Mayer, a pair of freshmen, got their collegiate careers off to a strong start by contributing to four victories (two individual and two relays).
Mairead Powers, a freshman, won a pair of individual races while individual titles also came from senior

SCOUTING IOWA STATE
Iowa State opened its season with a 183.5-113.5 win over Northern Iowa as head coach Duane Sorenson earned career win No. 125.
The Cyclones won 12 events as Brinley Horras won two individual races, the 200 free and 500 free.
