YoteCast host John Thayer chats with women's basketball assistant coach Ariel Braker along with Northern Iowa's play-by-play man Gary Rima on this week's show.
 
Braker chats about her journey from playing at Notre Dame to coaching at South Dakota, including calling former coach Muffet McGraw about the job offer. Thayer asks about her role at USD, including working as the Coyotes' recruiting coordinator and working with post development.
 
Thayer also talks with Rima as they preview the Northern Iowa Panthers ahead of Saturday's kick-off.
 
But we start as we always do with USD athletic director David Herbster. He reviews a busy weekend of three home volleyball games, a home football win that launched the Coyotes into the top-25 and the swimming and diving season opener. They also chat about the Summit League basketball preseason polls and teams released earlier this week.
