Powells Point, N.C. – The South Dakota Coyotes wraps up its fall season with a 13
th place finish at the ODU/OBX Intercollegiate Tuesday afternoon at the Kilmarlic Golf Club. Junior
Max Schmidtke capped off his impressive fall season tying for 12
th place.
The Sheboygan, Wisconsin, native shot 72-68-72 to total 212 after the three-day tournament. He finished 1 under-par, the first Yote to do that this fall season. After a first round 72, Schmidtke fired off a 68 in round two to jump 16 spots to tie for 14
th place after two rounds. He recorded a final round of 72 to tie for 12
th place in the Yotes final tournament of the fall season.
Junior
Hunter Rebrovich finished tied for 28
th place after carding scores of 72-71-72 for a total score of 215. Rebrovich finished 2 over-par for the three day event. Senior
Ian Johnston placed third on the team with a total score of 227 (72-75-80) to tie for 67
th place.
Rounding out the scoring for the Yotes was
Nick LaMotte and
Ryan Neff. LaMotte tied for 73
rd after carding a three round score of 228 (80-70-78) while Neff carded scores of 79-76-78 for a total score of 233.
As a team, the Yotes recorded scores of 295-284-300 for a total score of 879 after three rounds in North Carolina.
