VERMILLION, S.D.—South Dakota women's basketball has been picked fifth in the CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major preseason poll.
The Coyotes have been ranked for 70 consecutive polls released by CollegeInsider.com, including 65-straight polls among the nation's top-10 mid-majors.
South Dakota punched its ticket to the NCAA Tournament for the third-straight year in 2021. The Coyotes have won four of the last seven Summit League regular season crowns and back-to-back Summit League Tournament titles.
