Fifth-year senior pole vaulter Makiah Hunt of Niagara Falls, Ontario, is featured this week on "Drop A Pin", a show hosted by senior tennis player Habiba Aly in which she explores the experiences of international student-athletes at University of South Dakota.
 
In this episode, Aly learns how gymnastics and growing up with active siblings helped shape Hunt's journey into track and field and ultimately USD, how being on such a talented and competitive team continues to drive Hunt to new heights, and the experiences of competing on Team Canada including travel to foreign countries.
