Former Coyote quarterback Austin Simmons, senior basketball player Chloe Lamb and assistant men's basketball coach Brad Davidson are featured in this week's YoteCast, the official podcast of South Dakota athletics hosted by John Thayer.
 
Simmons, the program's second-leading passer with more than 6,000 yards, recently signed a professional contract with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the CFL. He touches on how that arrangement came to be and what had transpired after leaving USD and up to signing his first deal. Plus, Coyote football is rolling out a new starting quarterback this weekend. What was it like for him to make his first collegiate start?

Lamb recently announced her decision to return to Coyote basketball for one more season. She explains how she got there before taking a trip down memory lane in which she touches on big shots, key moments and if she ever imagined being part of a top-25 program. Plus, the team recently visited with Holly Rowe and Lamb shares her thoughts on that chat. Finally, what would she like to do after basketball (spoiler: it involves basketball).

Davidson grew up on the beaches of Australia. He played 13 years in the National Basketball League there, the top division in Australia. He helped the Australian men's national team win a Gold Medal at the 2006 Commonwealth Games. Then, he brought his family to beautiful and balmy North Dakota. He explains why, how he got into coaching and what sport he dreamed of playing growing up.
