VERMILLION, S.D.—South Dakota women's basketball is ranked seventh in the CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major poll as announced Tuesday evening.
The Coyotes are ranked for the 63rd consecutive CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major poll. South Dakota falls out of the poll's top five for the first time in 31 weeks.
South Dakota (10-5, 6-2 Summit) is led the senior trio of
Hannah Sjerven,
Chloe Lamb and
Liv Korngable. The three players rank 2-3-4 in the Summit League for scoring.
The Coyotes travel to North Dakota for the final road series of the Summit season this Saturday and Sunday. USD wraps up its eight-game road stretch with the Fighting Hawks. Tip-off for both games is set for noon on Saturday and Sunday.
