SUGAR LAND, Texas – The South Dakota Coyotes finished its third tournament of the spring season tying for seventh place with a final score of 918 on Tuesday at the Riverbend Country Club.

TEE OFF
- Badura continued her impressive play on Tuesday carding a 74 on the final 18 holes to finish six over-par after 52 holes. This is Badura's first top 10 finish and the first Coyote to finish in the top 10 as well. The freshman has improved her score significantly from her first collegiate tournament cutting off 16 strokes from her first 52-hole score of 238 at the Amelia Island Collegiate.
- Freshman Akari Hayashi finished tied for 29th after posting scores of 76, 75 and 80 for a total score of 231. She recorded 10 birdies in three rounds including five in the first round of the tournament.
- Completing her first tournament of the season, junior Megan Munneke placed 32nd. She recorded a three round score of 233 (75-75-83) which is her best 54-hole score since the 2018-19 season in which she recorded a career-best 223.
- Junior Laerke Jensen tied for 36th place after rounds of 80, 78 and 78 for a 20-over 236 score.
- Redshirt-junior Julia Hall placed 55th for the Yotes after recording scores of 83, 74 and 88. She finished with a 29-over 245 score after three rounds of action.

- The Yotes had their first golfer finish in the top 10 on the leaderboard in Badura with her ninth place finish.
- The Yotes recorded their best first day score of the season after recording rounds of 303 and 300 for a 603 score after two rounds.
