VERMILLION, S.D. – The South Dakota Coyotes put together a three round score of 916 to place second at the Diane Daugherty Invite on Tuesday afternoon. Freshmen Danica Badura and Akari Hayashi tied for second place on the player leaderboard with a score of 222.

TEE OFF

• Danica Badura moved up nine spots after shooting a 70 (-1) on the final day. She finished day one tied for 11^th place with a score of 152 and finished with a total score of 222, which is her lowest round of her career thus far. This Badura's second straight tournament placing in the top 10 and the first placing in the top three.
• Akari Hayashi recorded her best 54-hole score in a Coyote uniform with a score of 222. She recorded scores of 77-70-75 – 22 to tie with fellow Yote Badura for second place. She set a new low round with the score of 70 besting her previous one of 74.
• Laerke Jensen moved up 19 spots on the final day to finish tied for 27^th place after recording scores of 79-83-75 – 237. She finished the first day tied for 46^th place.
• Julia Hall carded scores of 78-83-80 – 241 to place tied for 44^th place. She recorded four birdies in the two days in Missouri.
• Megan Munneke improved her score each round recording scores of 86-80-77 to finish with a total score of 243. Her 77 on the final day helped her move up 18 spots to finish tied for 49^th place.
• Competing as the individual for the Yotes in her first event of the season, Molly Fossen tied for 70^th place. She recorded scores of 86-85-79—250.
