SIOUX FALLS – South Dakota diver Stella Fairbanks has been named Summit League Athlete of the Week, the league announced Tuesday.
 
Fairbanks, a freshman from Highland, Michigan, fashioned a pair of runner-up finishes during a road dual at Omaha on Friday and was named women's diver of the week for the third time this season.
 
She scored 237.98 on the three-meter board and 243.14 on the one-meter board.
 
The Coyotes return to the pool on Saturday with a 1 p.m. dual at rival South Dakota State.
