Habiba Aly, despite a 6-4, 6-4 loss at No. 2 singles, finished the regular season with an 8-4 overall record and 4-2 in the Summit League.

South Dakota will return to Denver for the Summit League championships for a Friday match against Denver.

"Tough match today against a very strong team," coach Brett Barnett said. "Overall we competed well had a lot of chances in both singles and doubles. We did a nice job getting up breaks on multiple courts but couldn't close some out. Quick turnaround before the tournament and we can make some adjustments that will help next week."
