NEWTON, Kan. – The South Dakota women's golf team battled blistering winds throughout day two of the Summit League Championships to sit fourth heading into the third and final round on Monday. Junior
Laerke Jensen leads the way for the Yotes on the leaderboard tied for 10
th place.
As a team, the Yotes shot a round two score of 342 for a total score of 646 after two rounds. USD is three strokes behind third place Oral Roberts while South Dakota State sits in second place (617) and Denver in first (614).
Jensen shot an 81 in round two for a total score of 158. Freshman
Danica Badura heads into the final round in 12
th place with a total score of 159 after carding a 84 on day two. Fellow freshmen
Akari Hayashi sits tied for 21
st after shooting a round two score of 89 for a total score of 164.
The final Coyote in the field is junior
Megan Munneke in 36
th place. She totaled 88 strokes on day two and 172 after two rounds.

- South Dakota has the third most pars after two rounds with 86 and has 10 birdies after 36 holes.
