Zack Anderson has been named the Summit League's Field Athlete of the Week for the period ended April 25.
Anderson successfully defended his Drake Relays title in the high jump with a clearance of 7-4 ½ (2.25m). It marks his second jump of 2.25+ meters this season. He has won four-straight meets in April. He earns the Summit League's weekly honor for the third-straight week and sixth time in his career.
Hailing from Parker, South Dakota, Anderson leads the Summit in the high jump and ranks second in the nation. He also leads the nation's top-ranked high jump squad this season with six men ranked in the top-76 of the country.
South Dakota returns to action with the Rock Chalk Classic in Lawrence, Kansas, this Friday through Saturday.
