SIOUX FALLS – South Dakota women tennis player
Habiba Aly has been named to the five-member Academic All-Summit League, the league announced on Wednesday.
Aly, a senior from Cairo, Egypt, is a repeat honoree, one of three on this year's squad. She compiled an 8-5 record playing No. 2 singles during the 2021 season. She teamed with Natka Kmoskova at No. 2 doubles to compile a 8-5 record, including 4-2 in Summit League play.
Aly, who owns a 3.78 GPA while majoring in media and journalism, has a 37-33 career singles record.
