KANSAS CITY, Mo.—South Dakota junior
Damani Hayes has been named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court for 2020-21.
Hayes is one of 13 Summit League men's basketball players to be named to the honors court.
Hayes averaged more than 10 minutes a game for last year's Summit runner-up squad. A native of Mankato, Minnesota, he spent two seasons at South Dakota Mines before transferring to USD. Hayes carries a 3.53 cumulative GPA as a biomedical engineering major.
To be eligible for the NABC Honors Court, the men's basketball student-athlete must be an academic junior or senior, own a cumulative grade-point average of 3.2 or higher and spend at least one year at the nominating institution.
