VERMILLION, S.D. – South Dakota men's golfer Ben Hicks has been selected to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Men's At Large Team for District 6, announced Thursday.
 
The junior is one of just 12 members on the All-District Team, in a district including schools from 11 different states. Hicks is currently majoring in kinesiology and sports management and holds a GPA of 3.75.
 
This past season on the golf course, Hicks shot an average of 76.28 on the season and led the team at the Summit League Championships with a seventh-place finish (220). He recorded one round of par or below on the season and had a +5 relative to par on the season. Hicks competed in all six events and 18 rounds in the spring only season.
