South Dakota Heads to East Coast for Terrier Intercollegiate

The South Dakota women's golf team is back on the course after a two-week break. The Coyotes had a tournament last weekend cancelled due to the aftermath of Hurricane Ian in Florida and are now in South Carolina for a two-day event. The Terrier Intercollege will take place at Carolina Country Club in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The course will play as a par 72 and covers 6,056 yards.

USD will be one of 17 teams in the two-day tournament with plenty of new competition. The first day of the tournament will consist of 36 holes followed by 18 holes on Tuesday. Monday's rounds will begin at 9:00 a.m. ET with a shotgun start. Tuesday's round will be tee times dictated by Monday's results.

The lineup for South Dakota sees a few changes in the order compared to the last three events. Akari Hayashi will lead things off as the No. 1 bag followed by Emma Henningsson, Molly Fossen, Danica Badura, and Catie Nekola. Henningsson led the Coyotes with a 21st place finish at the Pat Lesser-Harbottle Invitational. The team finished in 14th place at the tournament in Tacoma.

This will be the first time the Coyotes have competed in the Terrier Intercollegiate.
