South Dakota Completes Final Round at Stampede at the Creek

ELKHORN, Neb. - The South Dakota men's golf team completed its final round of action at the Stampede at the Creek on Tuesday. The Coyotes finished in eighth place after a 301 in the final round and an 892 three-round total. Junior Hunter Rebrovich recorded the highest finish for the Coyotes.

Rebrovich posted a 4-over par 76 in the final day at the Stampede at the Creek. He sank two birdies on the day and tied for seventh-most birdies among all players with 10 total. His three-round total of 223 (76-71-76) earned him a tie for 21st place.
 
Junior Max Schmidtke totaled a 6-over par 78 in the final day. He tied for seventh-most pars in the field with 37 pars made during the two days. Schmidtke's three-round total of 225 (74-73-78) gave him a tie for 26th place individually.
 
Junior Ryan Neff joined Schmidtke in a tie for 26th place. Neff posted the lowest score for the Coyotes in the final day with a 3-over par 75. He sank two birdies on the back nine and recorded six total birdies during the three rounds. Neff tallied a 225 two-day score after rounds of 76-74-75.
 
Junior Ian Johnston scored a 79 in the final round on Tuesday. Johnston tallied back-to-back birdies to begin the back nine and recorded six total birdies during the three rounds. His 226 (73-74-79) total score placed him in a tie for 31st place.
 
Sophomore Nick LaMotte ended the Stampede at the Creek with an 81. He scored his one birdie of the day on the par-four 3rd hole and sank five during the tournament. LaMotte's 226 (71-74-81) score tied him for 31st place alongside Johnston.
 
Freshman Logan Hamak rounded out the lineup for South Dakota with an 83 on the final day. Hamak's two birdies on the day came on hole 13 and 15 on the back nine and scored five birdies in total during the tournament. His three-round total of 236 (80-73-83) earned him a tie for 47th place individually. 

USD will have one more meet before the Summit League Championships. The Coyotes are scheduled for a dual against St. Thomas on April 22 in Morton, Minnesota, before the conference tournament beginning on May 1.
