Coyotes Duel with St. Thomas

The South Dakota men's golf team will get one final tune-up before the Summit League Championships with a duel against St. Thomas in Morton, Minnesota. The Coyotes and Tommies will play 36 holes on Friday from Dacotah Ridge Golf Club. The course will play as a par 72 and covers 7,109 yards. This will be USD's first dual since a pre-season contest against Omaha in 2015.

South Dakota will roll out junior Max Schmidtke, junior Hunter Rebrovich, junior Ian Johnston, sophomore Nick LaMotte, and junior Ryan Neff for its lineup. Freshman Logan Hamak will be competing as an individual. Hamak and Neff will have the first tee times for South Dakota at 9:40 a.m. Johnston and LaMotte will follow at 9:50 a.m. before Schmidtke and Rebrovich tee off in the final group at 10:00 a.m.

The Coyotes finished in eighth place in their most recent action at the Stampede at the Creek nearly two weeks ago. USD shot a 294-291-301 for an 892 total score. Rebrovich recorded the highest placement for South Dakota with a 223 three-round total and a tie for 21st place individually.
