The South Dakota men's golf team will make the trip to Des Moines, Iowa, for the Zach Johnson Invite hosted by Drake. The tournament will consist of a 36-hole round on Monday followed by an 18-hole round on Tuesday. Glen Oaks Country Club in West Des Moines will host this week's tournament and will play as a par 71 covering 6,898 yards.
 
The Coyotes will be one of 14 teams in this tournament and will see a few Summit League opponents this week. South Dakota along with North Dakota, North Dakota State, St. Thomas, and Western Illinois will represent the conference at the Zach Johnson Invite. Monday's rounds will begin at 8:30 am and Tuesday's one round will begin at 9 am. Both days will begin with a shotgun start.
 
The lineup for South Dakota will look different than this first lineup of the fall season at the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational. Senior Max Schmidtke will lead the Coyotes followed by senior Hunter Rebrovich, junior Nick LaMotte, graduate transfer Bryce Hammer, and sophomore Logan Hamak. Senior Ryan Neff will compete as an individual at this tournament. LaMotte and Neff will be making their season debut at the Zach Johnson invite.
 
USD last competed in the Zach Johnson Invite in the 2019 season. The Coyotes placed sixth as a team after a 906 three-round total at Glen Oaks Country Club.
