ST. PAUL, Minnesota – South Dakota senior
Stella Fairbanks hit an NCAA Zone Qualifying Mark on the one-meter diving board during Saturday's Summit League swimming and diving dual with St. Thomas inside Anderson Pool.

The Coyotes won 23 of the 26 events as the men's team posted a 143-98 win and the women's team earned a 189-53 triumph. The victory was the 100
th dual win for the women's team under head coach
Jason Mahowald.

Fairbanks swept both diving events, hitting the NCAA Zone Qualifying Mark on the one-meter board with a score of 268.10. She also claimed the three-meter competition with a score of 260.10.

South Dakota women won all 13 events contested in its dual, including seeing eight different ladies account for the nine individual swimming event victories.

Emily Kahn led the charge with wins in the 50 free (24.06) and the 100 free (53.19) while the junior swam the led-off leg on a winning 200 free relay, joining
Gabbie Ahrendt,
Christina Spomer and
Skyler Leverenz in clocking 1:37.43.

Ahrendt touched the wall first in the 100 fly (57.83), one of two freshmen to earn individual victories, as
Taylor Horan opened the individual portion of the meet with a win in the 1650 free in 18:19.25.

Sophomores
Camilla Brogger-Andersen,
Tatum O'Shea,
Taylor Buhr and
Grace Schultz also claimed individual wins as did junior
Mairead Powers.

Brogger-Andersen won the 500 free (5:18.38), O'Shea the 200 free (1:54.34), Buhr the 100 breast (1:05.60), Schultz he 100 back (58.23) and Powers the 400 IM (4:45.73).

The Coyote women opened the meet with a win in the 200 medley relay clocking 1:47.40 for the quartet of
Anna Balfanz,
Phoebe Paarlberg,
Bri Ruark and
Christina Spomer, three freshmen and a junior.

The men's team won eight of the 11 individua events as
Matthew Sorbe won two and six others –
Mack Sathre,
Jack Berdahl,
Adam Fisher,
Zachary Kopp,
Keegan Henning and
Charlie Matthews – claimed a win apiece.
Sorbe, a sophomore, won the 1650 free (16:37.17) and the 400 IM (4:18.57), the first and last individual events of the meet.

Sathre won the 200 free (1:45.22), Berdahl the 100 breast (56.60), Fisher the 50 free (21.56), Kopp the 100 free (46.48), Henning the 500 free (4:46.23) and Matthews the one-meter diving event with a score of 261.70.

The foursome of Fisher, Berdahl,
Jacob Carlson and Kopp won the 200 medley relay in 1:31.90 and the quartet of Carlson,
Aidan Gantenbein,
Dean Wall and Kopp claimed the 200 free relay in 1:24.53.

The Coyote men and women head to Lawrence, Kansas, next week for the Kansas Tri-Duals on Friday (6 p.m.) and Saturday (11 a.m.). Summit League foe Lindenwood is the other team competing in the meet.
