Coyotes wrap up fall season

LAKEWOOD RANCH, Fla.— South Dakota's Emma Henningsson and Ava Schroeder tied for 25th individually at the Pat Bradley Invitational which took place Saturday through Monday at Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club. The meet served as the team's final event of the fall season.

Henningsson and Schroeder carded two birdies each and Schroeder eagled the par-5 12th during round three Monday. Henningsson, who carded a career-best 69 at her last event, shot a bogey-free 70 Monday. Schroeder turned in a 75. Both players finished the tournament at 6-over par.

South Dakota shot 297 as a team, its lowest round of the tournament, and 901 across all three rounds which is fifth-best in program history. The Coyotes placed 10th as a team. Miami won the tournament with a total of 830, more than 20 strokes fewer than runner-up team Western Kentucky.

Catie Nekola tied for 40th place individually, shooting 75 for 3-over par in the third round and finishing at 11-over. Ella Greenberg tied for 54th at 17-over. Alexa Wingnean shot her best round of the tournament Monday with a 77 and tied for 65th place individually at 23-over.
