BROWNS SUMMIT, N.C.— South Dakota is currently third in the team standings following the completion of day one at the Bryan National Men's Collegiate Invitational. The Coyotes finished the day at 6-over par acrost 27 holes.
Logan Hamak sits in fifth place after day one of play. In round one, Hamak carded two birdies to finish 1-over par (73). Eight holes into round two, Hamak logged four more birdies and is 4-under par. Max Schmidke is in 23
rd place. He logged one bogey and one birdie in the first round to finish on-par (72).
Nick LaMotte and
Cole Witherow are tied for 35
th place individually. LaMotte and Witherow finished round one with scores of 75 (3-over) and 73 (1-over) respectively. So far in round two, LaMotte has carded two birdies.
Joe Rohlwing is in 85
th place, scoring 85 (13-over) in the first round. Rohlwing has hit two birdies so far in round two.
Due to predicted rain on Tuesday, participants played 27 holes today and will play 27 holes tomorrow to round out the competition.
