SIOUX FALLS, S.D.—South Dakota senior Meredith Clark, sophomore Mark Daley, senior Marshall Faurot and junior Erin Kinney have been named the TicketSmarter Summit League Peak Performers of the Week as announced by the league office Tuesday.
 
The Coyotes earned the sweep of the Summit's first weekly awards of the indoor track and field season.
 
Kinney, a sprinter from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, receives her ninth career Summit weekly award. Kinney took the tape in the 60 meters at the SDSU Holiday Open with a clocking of 7.43 seconds. Her preliminary time of 7.40 seconds leads the NCAA after opening weekend. She also ran a leg of the Coyotes' winning 4x400-meter relay, which ranks fifth nationally with a time of 3:46.28.
 
Clark, a thrower from Syracuse, Nebraska, picks up her second career weekly honor from the Summit. Clark won the shot put, finished runner-up in the discus and took fifth in the weight throw at the SDSU Holiday Open over the weekend. She launched the shot put a personal best distance of 51-11 ¼ (15.83m), which moves her to second in USD program history. She ranks third in the nation this season in the shot put and 26th nationally in the weight throw.
 
Daley, a sprinter hailing from Hopewell, Jamaica, garners his first career Summit weekly accolade. Daley won the 200 meters on Friday at the SDSU Holiday Open in 21.77 seconds. The time ranks 10th in the nation this season.

Faurot, a pole vaulter out of Scott City, Kansas, picks up the third Summit weekly honor of his career. Faurot won the opening weekend's pole vault competition with a height of 16-10 ¾ (5.15m). The mark leads the Summit by six inches and ranks 10th nationally.
 
South Dakota returns to action at the Hawkeye Invitational in Iowa City, Iowa, on Jan. 13.
