VERMILLION, S.D. – The South Dakota women's basketball team will be hosting four camps in June for kids as young as kindergarten through high school seniors. The camps are designed to train their skills with help from the Coyote women's basketball team on their home court in the Sanford Coyote Sports Center. Junior Yotes Camp (5-8):
Date: June 5-7
Check-in: June 5, 1:30 p.m. – 3 p.m.
Check-out: June 7, Noon
Resident Cost: $310
Commuter Cost: $250
 
The Junior Yotes camp will provide players with the opportunity to improve their fundamentals through drills, competition, and five-on-five team games. This camp will focus on passing, ball handling, shooting, and offensive and defensive concepts of the game. A t-shirt will be provided and is included in the registration cost.
 
Mini Yotes Camp (K-5):
Date: June 8-9
Check-in: June 8, 8:30 a.m.
Check-out: June 9, Noon
Cost: $80
 
Our Mini Yotes camp is designed to have an emphasis on teaching the basic skills of basketball from Coyote coaches and athletes. Camp will be filled with learning the basic rules and fundamentals of the game of basketball in a fun environment! A t-shirt will be provided and is included in the registration cost.
 
Elite Camp (9-12):
Date: June 11-12
Check-in: June 11, 12:30 p.m. – 2 p.m.
Check-out: June 12, 5 p.m.
Resident Cost: $225
Commuter Cost: $190
 
Take your skill development to the next level! This camp is designed for advanced players wanting to compete at a higher level. Sessions will include the same fundamental skill development drills utilized in our program daily. It will be packed with high intensity teaching and competition and campers should come motivated and ready to work. A t-shirt will be provided and is included in the registration cost.
 
Team Camp (Freshman, JV, & Varsity Teams):
Date: June 15-16
Both days: $395
Both days second team: $355
Single day: $285
Single day second team: $245
 
Our team camp is open to freshman, JV and varsity teams and often attracts teams from SD, NE, IA and MN, giving an opportunity to see unfamiliar opponents. Each team is guaranteed five games, with all games taking place in the Sanford Coyote Sports Center, USD's Wellness Center, and other wood courts in the area.
 
The summer camps will be directed by the USD women's basketball coaching staff and are constructed to help improve the skills of all level of basketball players. For more information and to register, visit goyotescamps.com.
