Unite for USD begins at noon Wednesday

02.27.2023

Coyote Nation has grown in numbers and support year after year and we are excited to celebrate with Unite for USD, a 24-hour challenge to unite Coyotes across the world to celebrate our university. The event begins at noon Wednesday and we hope that you will join us in recognizing all that USD has to offer by supporting our best and brightest initiatives.

Each Coyote athletic program has specific goals to take the next step and will share those initiatives throughout giving day. Beyond the teams, the department's Nutrition Center and Student-Athlete Success Center will be represented as well.

You can make a difference by visiting the Unite for USD webpage, consider making a match/challenge gift by contacting Associate AD for Development Andy Carr, or by interacting with the Yotes on Facebook and Twitter.

"Unite for USD is a day to bring all of Coyote Nation together to celebrate past success and continue to push forward for championships," said USD Athletic Director David Herbster. "We are excited to have each of our 18 varsity sports represented with initiatives this year and to promote the exciting goals of the Nutrition Center and Student-Athlete Success Center."

To spice things up during Unite for USD, Herbster will be participating in a wing-eating contest against representatives across campus to raise funds for the Nutrition Center. That event will take place at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the Muenster University Center dining area.
